Another driver says he was shot at while traveling along State Route 509. It happened approximately six miles from where four vehicles were hit by gunfire along State Route 509 near Sea-Tac on June 13.

The driver told KIRO 7 he was shot at about a week ago. He discovered a bullet hole in the side of his pickup truck just in front of the rear wheel on the driver’s side.
Though he didn’t know it was a bullet at the time, the driver said he heard it. He says it sounded like something slapped the side of his truck “real hard.”
Detectives are now trying to figure out if there is a connection between the two shootings on SR 509.
So far, detectives have come up short in linking someone to the shooting near Sea-Tac this week. Multiple agencies searched the area shortly after the shooting occurred. K-9 units and detectives did a grid search of the area for approximately two hours, which “yielded nothing of evidentiary value.”
Detectives returned to the scene with metal detectors on June 14, canvassing the area. They were unable to find any evidence.
