UPDATED: AG Bob Ferguson has officially filed suit against President Trump. Read more here.

Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson hates President Donald Trump. Which is a good characteristic to have in Washington state when you’re desperate to become our next Governor.

RELATED: Hypocrisy of AG Ferguson

The attorney general is now shamelessly fishing for clients for his next lawsuit against the Trump administration — which will likely end with a couple fundraising emails detailing his sanctimonious pursuit of all that’s good.

Hoping the media will help, Ferguson put out a press release Tuesday asking Washingtonians to contact him if if they’re impacted — or might be impacted — by Trump’s immigration policy that we’re pretending isn’t legal. The Seattle Times took him up on his request, and published a portion of his request.

The AG is hoping for grounds to sue the president. He’s not doing it for the kids. He’s doing it to further his political career and anti-Trump brand. Much like an ambulance chaser looking for clients to exploit for quick financial gain, Ferguson is basically looking for clients to help satisfy his need for media attention and insatiable appetite for more power in Washington. We shouldn’t help him.
