President Obama will be visiting Seattle on Friday for a fundraiser at the Westin Hotel.
The event is aimed at raising funds for Senator Patty Murray’s re-election campaign, but few details have been released.
When Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Seattle in September, his motorcade took almost every major freeway, forcing multiple closures.

What will happen when our own president visits? It’s believed President Obama will arrive and remain at The Westin in downtown Seattle.
Likely, I-5 and city streets will be impacted by the visit.
No word yet on the schedule, but the president is expected to be in Roseburg, OR that same morning to talk with the families of victims of the Umpqua College shooting.
