The semi-truck that rolled over while traveling on eastbound State Route 518 near Southcenter was going well over the posted speed limit when it crashed, witnesses tell the Washington State Patrol.
The truck was moving at approximately 55 mph as it entered a curve with a posted speed limit of 35 mph, according to Trooper Rick Johnson.
The truck lost a load of pipes, forcing the closure of all lanes.

The crash occurred around 10:50 a.m. Thursday. The closure lasted until at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said the crash is blocking access to northbound I-405 as well as southbound I-5.
Eastbound SR 518 turns into northbound I-405 on the left and a ramp leads to southbound I-5 on the right.
WSDOT expects it to take about three hours to reopen because of extensive cleanup. The rolled over semi will also have to be righted and towed from the scene.
The semi driver was not hurt and will be cited for negligent driving.
