The Barbershop nicknames 12 Seattle Seahawks

Marshawn Lynch: Beast Mode

Seattle knows Beast Mode. The 12s have, more than once, come to his defense. But what makes him "Beast Mode?" Marshawn runs down the field like a wild beast, taking down everything in his way.

Michael Bennett has a beard, he's jolly and always in a good mood - just like Santa Claus. And at the drop of the hat, he'll show up to help The Barbershop and Marcus Trufant with their iCan Project event to inspire leadership and empowerment among young men in the community. He sure hasn't put coal in anyone's stocking this year.

Cooper Helfet, Seahawks tight end and part-time model, earned his nickname from The Barbershop's legion of female fans by posing for photos like this. Bruce Irvin: The Predator

He's that guy in the trenches and there's no stopping him. Even if you try to offer peace, The Predator will swallow you up. Earl Thomas: The General

Earl Thomas is always on and as a good general, he keeps the troops in line.

Listen: Seahawk DeShawn Sheed says the team feeds off Earl Thomas' energy. Robert Turbin: Turbo

It's more than just an abbreviation for the running back's last name. When Robert Turbin is on the field, he's turbocharged.

Listen: Robert Turbin stops by The Barbershop. Cliff Avril: Huck

Cliff Avril's nickname comes from the hit show "Scandal." The character, Huck, is an assassin. He's calm, he's cool, he's collected. By the looks of it, you'd never be able to tell what Huck is capable of. It's kind of like the way Cliff is off the field, but as soon as he steps on the turf, he's an assassin.

Listen: Cliff Avril the sack master joins The Barbershop Ricardo Lockett: Pop, Lockette, and Drop It

The Barbershop named wide receiver Richard Lockette for the song, "Pop, Lock & Drop It" - but don't worry, it doesn't have to do with how he plays. Doug Baldwin: Our Best Friend Doug

Often known as "Passionate Doug," "Lonely Doug," or "Angry Doug," in the locker room Baldwin is simply known as DB Fresh. But The Barbershop prefers to call him by the name that they believe he embodies. He's their best friend!

We might as well put a halo above his head. He's really nice, and because everyone loves him, he gets a pass just to do his own thing.
