Man killed in Tacoma drive-by shooting

A man is dead after shots were fired from a car in Tacoma late Wednesday.

Police were called to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of South M Street but found no victims.

At 11:10 p.m., a 28-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman showed up at a hospital. The man was pronounced dead at 11:23 p.m. The woman had a minor injury.

Tacoma police found the probable crime scene near 1400 South L Street. Investigators say a drive-by shooting had happened there.

The investigation closed L street at 14th.

There is no suspect description at this time.

The relationship between the man and the woman is not yet known.
