A 37-year-old man was shot multiple times at a West Seattle bus stop after he and the suspect were believed to be involved in a “disturbance” on a bus Thursday night.

Police responded to a shooting at 35th Avenue SW and SW Morgan Street around 11 p.m. They found the victim on the sidewalk next to a Metro bus.

Officers provided first aid to the victim until medics arrived. The victim was taken to Haborview Medical Center where he died.

It is believed the victim and suspect both got off the bus at 35th and Morgan prior to the shooting.

Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department’s tip line at 206-233-5000.
