Don almost let the Electoral College prevent him from voting

Don wasn't going to vote for president, and other issues, because he thinks it's pointless when the Electoral College has pretty much already determined that Washington state has re-elected Obama.

That was all until Don received an email from James, in the military, who said he was upset to hear that he wasn't voting.

He told Don that part of being an American and honoring James' sacrifices is voting for local and national elections. He went on to tell Don a story about the voters in Iraq in '04. Seventy percent of the population voted and they couldn't hide their marked thumbs from the death squads.

So guess what Don did today?

Ron should read a little more..
Some history on the Constitution, Bill of Rights and a understanding on the founding fathers concern for States rights would convince Ron he needs to vote at every opportunity.

    Good for You Don!
As a veteran (22 years) I also feel it's something I fought for and served for the right to express my freedom via the voting process. Many countries people face death for voting and such and it's a right and freedom we've fought for all these years! It’s too bad we can’t get our system together to give those currently serving the chance to vote…my gawd how stupid it that? People serving in the service not able to vote for their commander in chief due to a system that is too slow? Heck we get our absentee ballot at home weeks in advance why can’t the troops??? We did it in the jungles of Vietnam
