VIDEO: Brazilian TV show films scariest prank ever

A Brazilian variety show called "Programa Silvio Santos" regularly plays hidden camera tricks on unsuspecting audience members.

But with a new ghostly elevator stunt, they have officially created one of the scariest pranks ever put to film.

In the video, guests are ushered into a mirrored elevator by a businesslike receptionist. Soon after the elevator doors close, the lights begin to flicker and suddenly go out.

When the lights return, a ghostlike little girl has appeared, holding a teddy bear and staring. Then, as quickly as she has appeared, the girl lets out a blood-curdling scream and the lights go out again.

With the help of a night vision camera, television viewers can see the little girl sneak in and out of the elevator through a trap door...While the poor prank victims cower in fear. One woman weeps, several scream, and many of them appear to be praying.

And the audience ROARS with laughter.

Cruel? Creepy? Yes. Mean spirited? Maybe. But with over two-million views on YouTube, "Programa Silvio Santos" has a wildly successful viral hit on their hands.
