Move over Mr. Rogers, now Reading Rainbow has its own remix

The latest PBS Remix has dropped, and it harkens back to a classic 1990s educational program starring Levar Burton. Say "Butterfly in the Sky" to any Millennial, and they can probably finish the lyrics to the Reading Rainbow theme song.

Take a look, it's in a book.

A few months ago, I brought you the "making of" these ingenious YouTube videos, with Jason Seiken of PBS interactive. Seiken said they took a risk remixing iconic PBS characters, but the incredible viral success of the Mr. Rogers, Julia Child, and Bob Ross videos paid off by bringing these programs to millions of new viewers.

But you don't have to take my word for it.
