Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn comes on The Ron & Don Show

Ron & Don got a call Friday afternoon from Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn!

Last week, Ron & Don had tried unsuccessfully to convince the mayor to come on the show to discuss his plan to hold another gun buyback.

But finally on Friday, the mayor made time for a special appearance on The Ron & Don Show. The guys finally got their chance to talk to the mayor about the issue.

    Why does he even put on a suit and tie when he can't figure out how to shave and brush his hair??? Just put on your old pair of "Mom Jeans" with the elastic waistband, a dirty flannel shirt, and Doc Martin shoes...

    Did I hear the mayor say that the police did not know what authority they had to enforce or not enforce the sale of guns on the streets? Seems to me that the police should be the ones that know the laws. Pretty irresponsible if you ask me.

    Just a little FYI for you; the ordinance he sited is wrong. That city ordinance covers street vendors running a business and does not cover private citizens. The cops are smart enough to know that and now that the mayor is putting out an illegal directive the city will be sued and lose if any infractions are issued. You can't make that against the law period. You can regulate someone from operating a "Business" on tax payer owned property but not private citizens moving about thier lives.
