Video: Seahawks fans crush Bronco, literally

Jan 30, 2014, 3:27 PM | Updated: 3:34 pm

The Seahawks would love to crush the Broncos in the Super Bowl, but some hard core fans in Ferndale have gotten a head start.

Whatcom County’s Scrap-It recycling services got a head start on the Super Bowl by painting a 1985 Ford Bronco that had been in the company’s scrap yard in the Broncos colors, then crushing it with a crane painted with the Seahawks logo.

Employee Herb Parks came up with the idea when he saw the Bronco, and he got to operate the crane as it tore into the Bronco, the Bellingham Herald reports.

“It felt like the 12th Man,” he said. “This made me feel like I was part of the team.”
