Hundreds of homes have been burned and thousands of acres of land have been devastated by the Carlton Complex fires still raging in North Central Washington. Our friends and neighbors there are in need of our help. The Puyallup Tribe’s Emerald Casino and Pierce County Crime Stoppers are collecting water, first aid supplies, soap, socks, batteries, work gloves, Gatorade type drinks and many, many more items. Your donations can be dropped off at both Emerald Queen Casino locations.

Emerald Queen Casino Tacoma:
2024 E. 29th Street
Tacoma, WA 98404

Emerald Queen Casino Fife:
5700 Pacific Highway E.
Fife, WA 98424

We are hearing from folks in the hard-hit towns of Pateros and Brewster that the following items are especially needed:

Camping cook stoves and propane tanks, small BBQ’s, large flash lights, lanterns, camp chairs, AAA and D batteries. Hygiene items like hand sanitizer, water, shampoo and soap, laundry soap, contact solution, aspirin, baby wipes, dish soap. Phone car chargers, ***gas cards and gift cards to stores like Wal-Mart or Home Depot***, new clothing including socks and men’s jeans. Also needed are protein and energy bars, first aid supplies, Gatorade type drinks, and work gloves.
