Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean, just did a rare interview with Rolling Stone, perhaps the most in-depth conversation she’s had publicly about her dad.
She said she still gets a lot people staring at her because of how much she looks like her father. Frances Bean calls it the “KC Jeebies.”
Cobain biographer Charles R. Cross stopped by KIRO Radio’s Ron and Don Show on Thursday to talk about the interview and the notion that Kurt Cobain’s daughter will likely never pursue a career in music.
“She’s not really shown an interest in the entertainment industry. Part of it is you’d be crazy,” Cross said. “If your dad is Kurt Cobain, you don’t start a grunge band.”
Outside of Ken Griffey Jr., Cross said it’s highly unlikely the junior is more successful than the senior when it comes to the family business.
