![]() Would you try and make the object of your affection jealous with a fake Facebook girlfriend, or is the plan flawed? |
You can find services for just about anything on the internet, including finding someone who would pose as your Facebook girlfriend. It turns out it only costs $5.
According to Gizmodo - you can hire out girls (or people posing as girls) to not only be your Facebook-GF and incite jealousy in real life girls, but also to do other things.
Whoa: Before your mind starts racing, 'the other things' include fashion advice, homework help, a list of great dub step songs and video calling you so you can watch her paint her toes. Yes, that last one is a little weird.
While all of this might sound like a sweet deal, Ron, Don, and Libby were unsure of how the Facebook girlfriend would actually be perceived, especially after reading a conversation between a hired GF and her faux beau.
Messages that started out with a simple "hey babe" seemed heavy handed according to the trio. From there, the public wall messages got more intense.
"Hey hun, I won't be around until tomorrow, just letting you know, I have to have my pet put down amongst other not so fun stuff :( but I will give you a shout after I promise :) xxx"
"If you were in a relationship, who would actually be saying, 'put my beloved pet down' in a Facebook wall post?" Libby asked.
Don said that when it comes down to faking a lady in his life, he won't hire someone for $5 to pose as his Internet girlfriend. After all, his sisters have different last names. But Ron thinks Don's plan might lead to some problems.
