The FAA alert stated that the delays are due to low visibility, and some arriving flights are delayed an average of 1 hour and 33 minutes.
In all, 373 flights were delayed Sunday with 12 cancellations at Sea-Tac Airport. KIRO 7 checked again this Monday morning and there were six cancellations so far, but no word yet if those are smoke-related.

Another air quality alert has been issued for Western Washington from Sunday to 5 p.m. Wednesday as smoky haze returns to Seattle. Residents should stay indoors whenever possible.
