You might have heard that President Donald Trump did a Google search on the phrase “Trump News” and found — to his horror — that most of the posts were anti-Trump stories written by the left wing media.

So of course, I and everybody else immediately Googled “Clinton news,” and shockingly every story was a glowing description of how wonderful she is, her impeccable character, attractive outfits … actually none of that was online. No, actually, one of the first websites that comes up is a website called “clinton.news” which leads off with the headline, “Hillary Clinton killed my friends” and describes her as an “anti-American criminal.”
Since the administration is now considering regulating Google searches, perhaps I could suggest that the president simply refine his searches to include the word “Clinton.” Which would pull up tons of news to make him happy, and would save taxpayers the cost of having to staff the Department of Search Engine Regulation, and the cost of paying lawyers to defend an unconstitutional agency.
Or, what we could do is go back to the old FCC Fairness Doctrine! Under which broadcasters were required to discuss controversial issues “in a way that was honest, equitable, and balanced.”
I’m sure talk radio would be happy to bring that back. No?
