Man's skull, remains found in Bastyr University woods

What should have been a normal hike the a wooded area at Bastyr University became a possible crime scene Thursday.

Students walking the trails near NE 143 and Juanita Drive NE came upon what they believed were a set of human remains, including a skull.

They called the police, and King County Major Crimes Detectives responded to the scene. Detectives collected the bones, which they believe were outside in the elements for sometime.

The King County Medical Examiner determined that the remains belonged to a male, but didn't have further details Friday.

Detectives are looking for clues in the surrounding area to help them identify the man.

Bastyr is really close to my house.
Played all over the old seminary grounds when I was a kid too. Sure glad I never found no remains!
