Fatal shooting on Rainier Ave

The man shot in South Seattle Thursday morning has died at Harborview Medical Center as the search for the killer continues.

Seattle Police spokeswoman Rene Witt says the shooting happened near Rainier Avenue South and South Byron Street, "The suspect is described as a black male wearing a long sleeved white shirt, wearing dark pants."

A series of 911 calls began coming in just after 3am Thursday from people who heard multiple guns shots and a man screaming he'd been shot.

The victim is in his late 20's to early 30's.

There's no word on what led to the shooting.
