Failure to flush prompts alcohol-fueled shooting
on November 19, 2012 @ 7:45 am (Updated: 8:25 am - 11/19/12 )A failure to flush the toilet apparently prompted an alcohol-fueled fight and shooting in Lacey over the weekend.
Thurston County Deputies say the incident occurred after two men brought a couple of women back to their home after a Saturday night out drinking.
Deputies say one of the men in his 20s started freaking out when one of the women clogged their toilet.
The women left and the men fought until one of them pulled a gun out and shot the other in the chest.
The News Tribune reports the injured man locked himself in a bedroom, then was able to flee the house and get a ride to the emergency room, where police were called. His injuries were not life threatening.
The shooter was also treated at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia for facial lacerations suffered in the fight. He is facing charges.
