Chris Hansen's design team has released new architectural images for the arena he's proposing in Seattle's SoDo neighborhood.

A preferred concept for the $490 million complex would have sweeping views of the city skyline and Elliot Bay. The plans show potential building shapes and no exterior colors and finishes.

There will be a year-long formal review process before a design is chosen.

The Seattle Times reports the public will get a chance to comment on the new plans on Dec. 11 at Seattle City Hall.

Earlier in the week, 360 Architecture Inc. told the city's Design and Review Board that the new arena will be unique and pedestrian friendly, and blend well with the neighborhood.

    CH.. just stop already!
Let me use some crayons and draw you a picture so you can understand. My guess is on your stance of the arena, you will NEVER attend anything at the arena. There fore you will never ever ever ever ever be taxed for this building.

Don't bother trying to reason with him. Like his friend Newton, he lacks standard mental capacity (to put it nicely). It's funny how the two main people that are opposed to the arena are actually retarded. Coincidence?

With that Aircraft Hanger we call Safeco Park. What the customers should be concerned about is how games are viewed from the inside, how much further from the action will folks (in the cheaper seats)be from the action then they were in the Key new arenas seem to be more like Bowls, older arenas were steeper which allowed much better cheaper seats
