In what is starting to look like a revenge-spree, police arrested a man after using a realistic looking pellet gun to shoot at Seattle businesses.

Shots rang out near the University of Washington bookstore in Seattle, Monday afternoon.

No one at the bookstore was injured, according to a University Bookstore employee. A window at the Crossroads clothing store next door was hit.

The Bookstore CEO told KIRO reporter Tim Haeck people inside the store recognized the suspect. He had been in to the store a few weeks earlier and had a transaction that "didn't go quite the way he wanted."

According to police on a prior occasion, the suspect, a 24-year-old Asian man made veiled threats against the business.

He fled the scene in a black Audi, but police stopped a his car near the NE 45th St & 18th Ave NE shortly after the shooting.

Reporter Brandi Kruse said police closed the area during the suspect's arrest. According to the SPD Twitter, police had to get the suspect "under control," before making the arrest.

Phil, a freshman at UW, was selling hot chocolate outside his fraternity house when he saw the suspect's black Audi drive westbound on 45th Street.

"It was really unexpected and kind of crazy," he said. "He started trying to speed off again, and you just get a caravan of police cars coming after him."

He said an unmarked police car came up alongside the suspect's vehicle and caused him to lose control. He came to a stop near 45th Street and 18th Avenue, where police were able to take him into custody.

Police later stated they believe the suspect was involved in a second shooting on 5200 block of University Way. An employee was inside his business when he heard what sounded like shots.

The man looked out the window and discovered the suspect shooting at the business from his car, some of the shots cracking the business' window. He called 911 as the suspect drove away.

According to police the suspect was upset with that business over the handling of some insurance claims.

Police tell KIRO Radio they're not ruling the possibility of a third incident being tied to the arrested suspect.

No one was injured at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse when pellet gun shots were fired shortly after 11 a.m. Four windows on the south side of the Municipal Court building were damaged by pellet gunfire.

The windows are about 30 feet above street level and police said only one of them shattered.

This just gets better & better.... lol..
... Oh my word... now it's "Shots rang out"... I can't hardly laugh hard enough right now.

To read this ridiculous article you'd think a guy busted out his Glock .40S&W and went to town on the courthouse and bookstore

"some of the shots cracking a window"... oh man... look out! :)

He fled in a black Aduit shortly after the shooting... again, sounds like some serious gang activity... until you read "four windows were damaged"...

Okay, okay, a high-powered pellet gun can really hurt. In fact you can hunt some small birds and rodents with better ones... but to equate it to an actual firearm... and then to read this article the way it's written... it's GOT to be satire. ROFL... good one, Brandy!
