Construction on Charlie and Braden Powell memorial complete
on December 3, 2012 @ 6:49 pm (Updated: 6:58 pm - 12/3/12 )A memorial remembering the Charlie and Braden Powell is now standing at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
The memorial stands about four-and-a-half feet tall and five feet wide, with the arms of the angel reaching upwards and wings outstretched.
After just a few weeks of construction, a bronze statue of a child angel went up Monday morning in honor of Charlie and Braden, who were murdered by their father, Josh Powell.
"I think it's going to be a good addition to the cememntary. Also, people that have lost children will be able to go there and remember their children," said the Powell boys' grandfather Chuck Cox.
There will be a candlelight vigil at the statue on Thursday starting at 7 p.m.
