The Bellevue Police Department is trying to identify a witness in a shooting at bar that claimed one life in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve.

Police say the man in the white hat (shown in above photos) appears to have been with the victim the night of the shooting at Munchbar.

The suspect in the shooting, Ja’Mari Alexander Jones, was arrested on Jan. 3. Jones was arrested after Lakewood officers randomly ran the license plate of a car that turned out to be stolen.

Jones is the suspected gunman in the fatal shooting at a bar where more than 600 people were present, many among them were celebrating the Seahawks victory over the San Francisco 49ers the day before.

As chaos broke out, 30-year-old DeShawn “D.Mill” Milliken of Seattle was killed.

Milliken was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was rushed to Overlake Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the hand. According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Milliken died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Jones, 19, has been booked into the King County Jail on a second-degree murder charge with bail set at $5 million.

If you are able to identify this witness please contact the Bellevue Police Department at (425) 452-6050.
