If you've got a wiggly baby or a great play developing on the soccer field, this week's app of the week might help you capture just the moment you want.

"This app is one that ensures you never miss a shot as long as you can get the app open," says GeekWire host Todd Bishop about the Fast Camera app.

"The signature feature is as soon as you open this app on your iPhone, it immediately starts shooting pictures."

The app can take up to 800 shots a minute, so at least one frame is likely to catch what you want. Once you're done shooting, the app then presents you with all the proof options.

"You can select which ones you actually want to go into your iPhone camera roll, so you're not spamming your iPhone camera roll," says Bishop.

The creators of Fast Camera say it's also great for group shots. It has a timer so the photographer can jump in, and it just might increase the likelihood of finding a shot everyone agrees on with hundreds of proof options.

GeekWire can be heard on KIRO Radio Saturdays at 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Available anytime ON DEMAND at KIRORadio.com.
