Eyman calls Governor Inslee a 'lying whore'

Initiative guru Tim Eyman is calling Governor Jay Inslee a "lying whore" for his seeming willingness to back newly proposed transportation taxes, sparking a sharp rebuke from one of his biggest opponents.

Eyman sent an email to media outlets and supporters Thursday, warning of the "greatest onslaught of tax increase proposals in our state's history."

In the email, Eyman writes:

"Candidate Inslee repeatedly promised to veto any tax increase. He said no way to higher transportation taxes in 2013. Inslee said he'd grow jobs to generate more tax revenue. What a lying whore he turned out to be."

A frequent critic of Eyman's, Andrew Villenueve with the Northwest Progressive Institute, is urging the media "not to take the bait."

"This isn't news. Let the only response to this despicable commentary be from his opposition," he wrote in a response. "Eyman deserves to be called out for his inappropriate and disparaging remarks, but he does not deserve more headlines and on-air mentions by the traditional press. He has already shown he has nothing to contribute to a sane discussion about the value of public services in our state."

The Seattle Times points out Inslee never ruled out increased taxes for transportation during his campaign and did say he supports sending a transportation tax measure to the ballot.

Inslee's office did not issue any comment or response to Eyman's letter.

    Facts? Read a bit and you'll see Eyman is correct. Inslee said he would veto higher taxes, and now he is supporting them. How much tax is enough? Ever?

    Union payback
    We already have some of the highest fuel taxes in the nation. The train thing is a loser. Just wait, like Portland with MAX, Seattle will discover these trains are favorites for crooks. Crime seems to be much higher around the stations. We already pay a high enough percentage that with reasonable costs we should be able to maintain our systems so 2 things are going on, one is overpriced upgrades that are a payback for continued union support. Keep a close eye, if these accounts show a surplus they will get raided for whatever pet projects the Governor likes to pay back some other special interest or supporting group. We have user fees for everything now but services don't seem to be what they used to be when we forced the state to operate under tighter control. As for you lefties, you have no ground to stand on. This state has been Governed from the left for well over 20 years and everything should be all fixed now.. fixed is right.

    @W900A GOP payback
    There's this interstate called "I-90" that you can utilize which leads to the land of OZ called "Idaho". Say hi to the Wizard (grand) who lives near Hayden lake. Look out for the wicked witch (Senator Larry Craig), I hear he really likes to dress up and look for ruby slippers at night.

    Not very good looking for a prostitute, thats probably why Eyeman is upset..
    Course, I cant really say anything good about Eyemans rejection of this manly street urchin living in WA big house because it might come back to haunt me. But I can say that Eyeman should be ashamed of himself for not tipping well.

    King Co Impact of coming taxes House Bill 1954
    There is a bill proposed that establishes a value based vehicle fee for statewide, additional value based vehicle fee for King/Snohomish, increase for transportation benefit district fee, and increase for auditor and registration subagent fees. If you add all that to the existing fees, you pay a lot more to register your car each year. Some examples - if you own a 2006 Toyota and live in King County you will annually pay $226 to register your vehicle. Owner of a 2012 Mercedes Benz will pay $1,084. Owner of 2012 Chevy Volt will pay $412. Owner of 2005 Ford F150 will pay $232. Keep voting Democrat, gang. This is in addition to the increase in gas tax BTW.
