Police say a suspicious package found in downtown Seattle was just a backpack.
Arson Bomb Unit robots moved in at the corner of 3rd Ave. and Yesler Way to investigate Tuesday morning. It turns out, the package was simply a black backpack someone left on the sidewalk. The City of Seattle reports there was a hair dryer inside.
Traffic and pedestrians are were kept away from the area for about an hour, but roads and sidewalks have been reopened. The King County Courthouse has also reopened.
