The force was not with bus riders in Seattle Sunday night, after what turned out to be a homemade light saber forced a security scare that shut down the downtown transit tunnel.

The Seattle Police Department says a security guard came upon what he thought was a suspicious device just before 10 pm. He called the cops, who brought in the Arson/Bomb Squad.

But after taking a closer look, police determined it was a homemade lightsaber made to look like the popular weapon on Star Wars.

Police say the lightsaber was made out of a flashlight, plastic toy, duct tape, battery, and string.
