A South Park family called 911 Tuesday to report a strange metal object crashed through their roof Sunday night.

Seattle police officers took photos of the 8-inch by 6-inch hole the bar made in the ceiling and contacted the Federal Aviation Administration.

Police at the scene determined the piece of metal may have fallen from an "aircraft or a really big bird that had stolen a lead bar."

No injuries were reported.
