Newborn baby found, Amber Alert in Everett cancelled

UPDATE: Everett Police have located a missing newborn whose disappearance sparked an Amber Alert Thursday night.

Police say the baby appears to be in stable condition.

Authorities say the baby was located alive in an apartment on Casino Road and appears to be in need of medical attention.

Child Protective Services believed the two-week-old baby boy was "in grave danger."

The alert said the mother was a heavy methamphetamine user and the baby's medical needs may have been be related.

Snohomish County Superior court had issued an order to take the baby into custody.
