A 32-year-old man injured at Stevens Pass Monday morning has died.
Stevens Pass ski resort spokesperson Chris Danforth told KIRO Radio it appeared the man hit his head on a rock while skiing in the Corona Bowl area, which is in-bounds on the backside.
A rescue team got the skier down to the Nordic Center where there was an ambulance waiting for him. Danforth said the man died on the way to the hospital.
