Seahawks QB Russell Wilson turned down ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Russell Wilson’s got pretty good moves on the football field but he apparently isn’t ready to share them with the world on the dance floor.
Wilson told “Access Hollywood” in a recent interview that he’s actually been asked twice to be on the show “Dancing with the Stars”.
“After my rookie year I got invited to do ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ And then after this year I got invited,” said Wilson. “I’m going to do it at some point. I’m going to definitely do it.”
The main reason he hasn’t participated up to this point, he says, is a little thing called the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, which is a pretty big priority for him currently.
“I need to focus on my football career right now,” said Wilson. “It’s one of those things that I’m trying to do as much as I can in terms of winning football games for the Seattle Seahawks and our franchise.”
Wilson said he’s a big fan of “Dancing with the Stars,” and will definitely take on the challenge at some point. And it sounds like just as on the football field, he’s in it to win it.
“Hopefully I could win,” Wilson said.
