Defense attorneys for Danford Grant, the high profile Seattle attorney turned accused serial rapist, are trying to get key evidence thrown out before his trial starts May 5.
Defense attorneys argued Thursday for the court to throw out evidence that Danford Grant may have searched for pornography depicting scenes of rape on his computer.
The defense called that evidence highly prejudicial and likened it to child pornography, saying that not everyone who views child porn rapes children. The prosecution argues that the evidence proves intent.
The judge will rule on whether that evidence is admissible at a later date.
Grant is charged with eight counts, including rape and attempted rape for a series of attacks at massage parlors.
