Seven men charged in explosions linked to drug making

Federal prosecutors in Seattle are charging seven men linked to explosions and fires caused by home drug manufacturing.
The four explosions in Bellevue, Kirkland, Seattle and Puyallup injured several people, including former Bellevue Nan Campbell. She later died of complications from her injuries suffered in an explosion and fire at a Bellevue apartment complex in November, 2013.
U.S. Attorney for Western Washington, Jenny Durkan, said at a Tuesday morning news conference that the illegal home manufacture of honey oil, or hash oil, is a threat to the community.
The charges against David Schultz II, 32, Daniel Strycharske, 28, Jesse Kaplan, 31, Seth Cleek, 31, Kevin Weeks Jr., 24, Robby Mesier, 46 and Hugh Harris, 65 include Endangering Human Life While Manufacturing Controlled Substances, Maintaining a Drug Involved Premises, and Manufacturing Hash Oil and Marijuana.
