Lightning strikes during Blue Angels practice?

Thunderstorms are headed north from southern Washington and forecasters say we could see lightning strikes in Seattle during the Blue Angels practice on Friday.

Practice is 12:15-2:40 p.m.

There have been two strikes in Thurston County near Olympia late Friday morning and a handful in Pierce County, but meteorologist Johnny Berg with the National Weather Service said that band seems to be moving west of Seattle.

The system made its way into south King County around 2 p.m.
