Seattle's defending Super Bowl champions are kicking off the regular season Sept. 4 with a big party beforehand.
Platinum-selling musician Pharrell will perform outside of CenturyLink Field for the 12th Man an hour before the Seahawks play the Green Bay Packers as the NFL kicks off its 95th season.
Seattle-based rockers Soundgarden will kick off the free event with a performance. The 60-minute pregame show will air from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on NBC and NFL Network.
Pop singer Ariana Grande will sing the national anthem.
This is the 13th consecutive pregame celebration to start the season and the 10th time the NFL has saluted the Super Bowl champions with the opening game in their stadium on a Thursday in primetime.
Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. Pregame coverage on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio begins at 2:30 p.m.
