The National Weather Service says the remnants of former Hurricane Ana, which doused Hawaii last week, is bringing another round of rain and wind to Western Washington that is expected to last into Tuesday morning.
Forecasters say it won’t be as strong as the weekend storm that raked the state, but winds of 50 mph could hit the coast and 1-to-3 inches of rain are possible in the Olympics.
The National Weather Service says waves will be two to four feet high around Seattle and has issued a small craft advisory in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday.
KING 5’s Rich Marriott says things will dry out a little bit on Wednesday.
“Tomorrow we catch a little bit of a break. There will be some showers around in the morning. I think those will pretty much wrap up turning partly sunny in the afternoon,” says Marriott. “It’s back to steady rain Thursday, showers Friday, probably showers around for trick or treating.”
“It sounds like we could be moving from October to November weather-wise,” says Marriott.
