It’s been nearly three years since then 2-year-old Sky Metalwala disappeared in Bellevue and officials hope a new age-progressed photo might aid in solving the mystery of his disappearance.
The photo created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children shows what Sky could look like at age 5.
The boy was last seen Nov. 6. His mother Julia Biryukova told Bellevue police her car ran out of gas and that she left the youngster in the car while she went to get help. She told police he was gone when she returned.
Police ultimately determined the car had plenty of gas and no other apparent mechanical problems.
Biryukova refused to cooperate with investigators. Her estranged husband, Solomon Metalwala, has tirelessly investigated the disappearance.
The Bellevue Police Department continues investigating. No arrests have been made in the case.
Anyone with information on Sky’s whereabouts is asked to call Bellevue police at (425) 577-5656 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
