Small earthquake felt in Redmond

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was felt in Redmond Thursday morning.

The U. S. Geological Survey reports it occurred at 9:37 a.m. and was centered two miles northwest of Redmond at a depth of about five miles.
Although it was a small quake, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network website reports more than 250 people felt it.
In the past week, there have been two earthquakes in Western Washington that have measured in the 2.5 range. A 2.5 was recorded in Rockport, Washington Sunday afternoon and a 2.7 was recorded in Eatonville a few hours later.
