The former CEO of Centerplate, which provides food services at Safeco Field, has been sentenced for kicking a 5-month-old puppy.
Desmond Hague was fined $5,000 and banned from owning or controlling an animal for three years, according to CBCNews.
Hague was caught on video in Aug. 2014 kicking a small Doberman pinscher in an elevator at a Vancouver hotel.
The 5-month-old dog was not Hague’s, but a friend’s who asked him to take it for a walk. Hague’s lawyer said a veterinarian confirmed the dog was not injured.
Hague resigned from Centerplate in September and was ordered to pay $100,000 towards animal welfare.
