Two masked men tied up a West Seattle homeowner before stealing thousands of dollars in cash and weapons.
The homeowner, who operates a marijuana shop, walked up to his house in the 8600 block of 35th Avenue SW at about 12:30 a.m. when the two masked men approached him. They grabbed the puppy the man was carrying, held the man at gun point, and forced their way inside, according to Seattle police.
The suspects forced the man to open two safes and then tied him to a bed.
The suspects took a “large amount of cash,” six handguns, a rifle, four watches and a surveillance system, according to police.
The man got free about a half an hour after the incident. After he found his dog, he called police.
The man described the suspects as men in their 30s, one white and one Hispanic.
