A Seattle resident was beaten and tied up as robbers went through his Roosevelt area apartment, stealing various electronics early Sunday morning.

Seattle police detectives are investigating the incident that occurred in the 1300 block of NE 80th Street. The victim in the case told police that he spent the night partying, then walked home where he fell asleep.

He soon woke up to find several unwanted people in his apartment. He was struck in the head and then tied up as the robbers took electronics from his home. After they left, the man went to his neighbor who called 9-1-1 around 5:30 a.m.

The man was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
Seattle police are asking for residents to come forward with any information that could help by calling 9-1-1 and asking to speak with an officer.
