Four people who may be connected to the death of a Kent baby have been placed in custody.
The “persons of interest” in the shooting of 1-year-old Malijah Grant are being held by police on unrelated charges, KING 5 reports.
Malijah died after being shot in April as she rode in a car with her parents. Another car had pulled up alongside them and two people inside opened fire.

Detectives served a “high-risk search warrant” at a Kent residence last Friday, Kent Assistant Police Chief Derek Kammerzell told KING 5. The occupants were believed to have ties to gangs.
During the warrant search, four guns were confiscated. Three of the guns were confirmed stolen, KING 5 reports.
Kent Chief of Police Kent Thomas said the shooting is linked to up to 15 other shootings between Seattle and Tacoma.
