Seattle police are asking the public for help identifying a suspected thief in a string of bikini barista burglaries.

Even though they have security camera footage of the overly-dressed thief breaking into a Georgetown coffee stand shortly after midnight on May 19, detectives have had difficulty identifying the individual.

The burglar was wearing a mask and gloves while rummaging through the coffee stand located in the 6100 block of 4th Avenue South.

After searching through cabinets and drawers, the thief left the stand with cash, cookies, muffins and juice.

The Georgetown burglary may be the first of two such thefts that detectives suspect the burglar of committing.

On May 20, another burglary was committed at a drive-thru coffee shop, also a bikini barista stand. The second theft took place in 500 block of South Michigan Street, around 3 a.m. The thief stole the entire cash register.

Seattle detectives are asking anyone with any information about the thefts to call 206-386-1855.
