Why it isn’t cheap to be a Seahawks fan

Not surprisingly, Seattle Seahawks tickets from third-party sellers are pricey.
The Puget Sound Business Journal reports the Hawks have the most expensive tickets in the NFL.
The median price of a home game ticket is $412. That’s well over other teams, such as the Denver Broncos ($385), the Business Journal reports. Prices from ticket sellers, such as Vivid Seats, based prices on inventory and “highly anticipated” games.
The cheapest ticket at median price is for a game against the Tennessee Titans ($100).
The Business Journal reports tickets for 20 of the league’s teams cost less than $200.
Luckily, fans have a few weeks to save before the Seahawks step onto the field. The team faces the Broncos at CenturyLink Field for its first preseason game on Aug. 14. The first regular game kicks off at 10 a.m. on Sept. 13 when the Hawks play the St. Louis Rams on the road.
The Business Journal reports the Seahawks have sold out 105 consecutive games since 2003.
Meanwhile, the countdown is on for the Seahawks’ training camp. The camp will help prepare the team for a 2015 season and redemption for last year’s Super Bowl loss.
Maybe the people standing outside the stadium for hours waiting for single-game tickets had the right idea.
