Management of the Harvard Market QFC has reacted to the unsolved shooting in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The shooting on Nov. 23 at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Pike Street left five people injured and shattered glass at the front of the store.
Since then, the store at 1401 Broadway has changed its hours, Capitol Hill Seattle reports.
Typically open 24 hours, a sign posted on a store window shows the store now closes between 1-4 a.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings. The hours on the store’s website list it as open 24 hours Sunday through Saturday.
It’s not the only store that’s had to deal with late-night activity. Earlier this year an employee of the Broadway Market QFC said Seattle police are frequently called to deal with intoxicated people. People enter the store on an almost daily basis, harassing employees and customers, the employee said.
