Beecher's is one of Oprah's favorite things

Oprah's annual "Favorite Things" episode, which aired Friday, featured extravagant and sensible gifts, as well as a tasty treat from an iconic Seattle cheese shop.

Beecher's Mac and Cheese made the list, and her audience got some to sample.

"We ship quite a bit of our mac and cheese frozen around the country," said Kurt Beecher Dammier, owner of Beecher's Handmade Cheese. "Each of the audience members gets a shipment from us, plus they got to eat it live in the studio."

On her website, Oprah said "The best part [is] it comes frozen. All you have to do is heat it up, and you've got yourself some good eatin' from Beecher's."

Dammier said they watched the east coast feed of the show on Friday, and that "[Oprah] obviously really, really liked it."

According to Dammier their flagship cheese is really the core of the traditional dish. "It's a very simple recipe that was created by a few of us together."

On Friday afternoon, the Beecher's website stated that due to heavy web traffic, they were only able to offer a limited version of their website, but visitors could still order the award-winning, and now Oprah-approved, Mac and Cheese.

    Food Gestapo!
Since Oprah has such a large audience, how long before the regime dispatches the food Comisar Michelle and the Protection Squad to her door and demanding that she tell her audience to put down the fork and pick up the dumbbells?

It's what's best for us! You know.

What a bunch of easily led Clowns!
Some of you are actually bashing Mac and Cheese because its endorsed by Opra, give us a break! One can only imagine what some of you would do or say if Opra endorsed the pilots of AG51. I bet the worst of you could be led to give the stink eye to them as well. Fools, this is how nations of fools are drawn from for fighting desperate causes, like Stalin-ism.

    Hey dickydoo
I love Mac and Cheese with lots of ketchup on it!

What I am joking about (Am I joking?) is the Obama government beginning to restrict what foods we Americans can eat.

Yes this nation is becoming more plum, but it is not up to the Obama's to tell us what we can and cannot stuff into our faces!
