Jackknifed semi-truck blocks I-5 in Seattle

MyNorthwest.com staff

All lanes are clear after an earlier five car and semi-truck crash near Yesler Way in Seattle.

Only one lane was getting by for about an hour, which caused about three miles of backed up traffic into downtown. Southbound lanes also slowed down while drivers checked out the wreckage.

Metro Traffic says the backup is slowly starting to improve, but if you can avoid the area, you'll save yourself some time...and maybe frustration.
