Sperm bike will be making deliveries around Seattle

The European Sperm Bank's Seattle lab will soon be making deliveries like they do in Copenhagen, by bike.

The Denmark-based company uses two wheels to make deliveries. It's a custom-designed bike with a cooling system built inside the 'sperm head' for storing tanks with sperm specimens.

The company's CEO Peter Bower told MarketWatch, "The first idea was how we could deliver to the fertility clinics in a CO2-friendly way." Then the company realized the bike could be a promotional tool as well.

The Seattle version of the bike will include a motor to get the extra-weighted cycle to get up Seattle's hills.

    Feel good story
If the motor is electric then it’s not carbon neutral. 51% of the electricity produced in the United States come from coal.

This will be used in Seattle. Washington gets 7% of its electricity from coal.

Does it make a baby boom?

@Moondoggie... I think we're about 80% hydroelectric in the PNW. So still green here. East of here, not so much.

...ride the bike and "deliver" it themselves. BTW Moondoggie, Seattle power is 91.2% Hyrdo, 1.4% coal. We sacrifice salmon populations here, very little fossil fuels. Check this out; http://www.seattle.gov/light/fuelmix/

    King Coal
7% coal, 1.4% coal. It’s still a carbon footprint! Heck, the eco-freaks don’t even like hydro power. I just get tired of the lefties fooling themselves into thinking that they are better than us. I was in Copenhagen last month and rode my bicycle all over the city. Almost 40% of the commuters ride bikes. The biggest hill I had to go up was a freeway overpass.

And the Leaf and the Volt are sold all over the USA, so you agree that they are coal powered cars?

Your joke is juvenile, tasteless, more than a little disgusting, and I’ll be retelling it to the guys on poker night.

    Balance is achieved
The bike delivers sperm but the guy riding the bike is killing off sperm by the millions due to the overheating of the male genitalia. Therefore they have achieved sperm neutrality.

So that's where republicans came from!
A sperm messenger crashed his bike in front of an insane asylum in Copenhagen. A Norway rat picked up the infected substance and boarded a container ship bound for the U.S.A. The rest of the story is too gruesome to repeat, but the story is true.

You sure have a way with words. You joke was witty and insightful, and left us on the right weeping like little children.
