Seattle-based Baristas Coffee Company has announced they will be featured in a new reality series, highlighting the "drama-filled lives of Baristas' young, attractive, female employees."

The series will be produced by Mark Mayer of M&M productions and will air on a soon-to-be-announced cable network.

"I am very impressed by the entire Barsitas experience and believe that the public will find it entertaining, endearing and sometimes shocking," Mayer said. "We are very much looking forward to finalizing the characters to begin filming."

The company's CEO, Barry Henthorn, describes Baristas Coffee as having "drive through coffee stands that serve amazingly good beverages with very friendly and attractive servers." Those servers are typically dressed in sexy costumes such as a "police woman, nurse, school girl or construction worker."

When asked about what the appeal of the show would be, Henthorn said it is obvious.

"If you had any idea what life is like dealing with girls who are between the ages of 19 and 27, who are making exceptionally good money and who are very catty at times, I wouldn't have to answer that question," he said. "I had absolutely no idea what this experience would be like, and I think that's a big part of the appeal."

Henthorn said the series will be driven by several main characters, but they are still working to identify who the rest of the "cast" should be and are hiring for potential barista reality stars.
